1. Any American or Foreign passenger car 4 or 6-cylinder (no trucks). Front-wheel drive ONLY. NO Rotary engines. NO Turbos.
2. Any 2 or 4-door. Driver doors must be welded. Additional doors may be welded or chained closed.
3. You must remove all flammable material except the front seat and dashboard. Racing seat is recommended, but not required. Original seat belts permitted, but racing harness recommended.
4. All side mirrors must be removed. No rear view mirrors are permitted.
Two way radios are not permitted in the car or in the driver's
equipment. In 2008 all divisions must have a RACEceiver radio
system.
5. Cars must be completely stock.
6. You must remove all glass with the exception of the windshield. Your car number must be visible of at least 6" on the upper right (passenger) side of your windshield. Do not leave broken glass inside doors.
7. A 4-Point roll cage, welded to the floor or frame is mandatory.
8. Only DOT approved tires that are produced for
highway use only on production made passenger
cars are permitted. No studded or snow tires allowed. All
four (4) tires must be same size. Example - No 13" on inside an
14" on outside.
9. Remove all exterior trim, molding, plastics, lens covers, etc.
10. Hood latch must be removed and replaced with hood pins.
11. All cars must start with key ON/OFF key switch.
12. All cars must have an OPERABLE racing window net on the driver's side.
13. Cars must be painted and lettered neatly. A minimum 18" number is
required on both doors and roof plus number on the rear of care where
tail lights would be. Must be legible.
14. Number reservations will be on a first come first serve basis and follow drivers.
15. A snell approved racing helmet is required. A fire retardant suit is REQUIRED.
All drivers are REQUIRED to wear a full one-piece or two-piece flame retardant fire suit.
16. No spacers. No offset rims or tires.
17. In order to protect a participant's race car, all cars must have a
cable, front and rear, for hook up. All cars must have a fuel shut
off switch located by the drivers seat.
The above rules are set to provide for the orderly conduct of all racing programs. Anything not covered should be checked with officials before proceeding. Rules may be changed at any time for the good sport of racing. Any interpretation or deviation of the rules will be left to the decision of the officials whose decision is FINAL!
The race director shall be empowered to add weight or permit minor
deviation from any of the specifications herein or impose further
restrictions that in his opinion do not alter the minimum acceptable
requirements. NO expressed or implied warranty of safety shall result
from publication of or compliance with these rules and regulations.
