Rain Wipes Out Shady Bowl Racing

DeGraff OH: 8/14- Racing action scheduled for Saturday at Shady Bowl Speedway fell victim to inclement weather, as rain and wet grounds forced promoter Charlie Stapleton to cancel the program.

This Saturday will feature what could turnout to the fastest night of racing ever for the rural oval, when the MSA super modifieds invade the speedway for the first time. The winged big block racers are the fastest openwheel cars in short track racing. Tim Ice, a former Shady Bowl regular in the super lates and modifieds is expected to be on hand, as he now runs under the MSA banner. The Late Models, Dwarfs, Compacts and Sport Stocks will round out the night of speed.
