DeGraff OH: 8/14- Racing action scheduled for Saturday at Shady Bowl
Speedway fell victim to inclement weather, as rain and wet grounds
forced promoter Charlie Stapleton to cancel the program.
This
Saturday will feature what could turnout to the fastest night of
racing ever for the rural oval, when the MSA super modifieds invade
the speedway for the first time. The winged big block racers are the
fastest openwheel cars in short track racing. Tim Ice, a former
Shady Bowl regular in the super lates and modifieds is expected to
be on hand, as he now runs under the MSA banner. The Late Models,
Dwarfs, Compacts and Sport Stocks will round out the night of speed.
