Super Cup Series Returns to Ohio but This Time Its The
Shady Bowl Speedway
June 5, 2010

June 19th will mark the first visit to this historic speedway located in De Graff Ohio.  Shady Bowl has hosted ARCA series races in the past and now the Super Cup cars are coming to town.  Super Cup cars have six hundred horsepower engines and steel bodies just like the Nationwide cars.  These cars are so similar that an ARCA or Nationwide can race in our series with minor changes.

Roger Blackstock from nearby Richmond Michigan a long time ARCA competitor has sent in an entry for this race.  Blackstock raced in ARCA for twenty plus years and has plans to run a few more races before turning the seat over to his son in 2011.

Wally Schweizer of Schrewsbury Pa. made his return to the series in May and plans to run the rest of the season in the # 90 car owned by Cal Richardson.

Several first time drivers have added their names to the list as well.  Brent Nelson from West Virginia and JJ Pack of Manassas Va. will be making their first start in the Super Cup at Shady Bowl Speedway.

Every year in every series someone sets the standard, like Jimmie Johnson in Sprint cup or Kyle Busch everywhere he races.  Todd Peck and team have thrown out the challenge to the rest of the drivers and teams and established themselves as the one to beat in Super Cup.  Peck Motorsports also fields a car in the K&N series and competes full time in both series.  Todd has won the first two races of the year and has his sites set on three in a row.

The nights activities start with an on track autograph session with fan participation.

Our series picks fans to be part of the activities, someone will present the pole award.

A fan will wave the green flag, another the checkered.  Someone else will present the trophy to the winner in victory lane.  Everyone that comes down to meet the drivers will be given a chance win.  On track autograph session is at 6:15
