Shady Bowl Set for 2010 Season

DeGraff OH: (3/26/10) Shady Bowl Speedway promoter Charlie Stapleton has announced the most varied schedule for racing fans in the history of the Champaign county oval. The Bowl will host, sprint cars, winged super mods, super late models, boat and trailer races, school; bus races and at least two thrill shows as added attractions. The action kicks off Saturday April 3rd, with seven classes of stock cars taking to the three-tenths mile oval. The Late Models. Modifieds, Compacts, Pro-4’s, Detroit Iron, Street Stocks and Ohio Valley Dwarf cars will open the season. Gates will open weekly at 3, with hot laps at 4 and time trials at 5:30. Racing will begin at 7.

Fans will be able to see the cars and meet the drivers at no charge, when the Bowl hosts a free practice session Wednesday (3/31) from 5-8PM. A printable schedule and more information is available by visiting the Bowl’s website (www.shadybowl.com).
