RAIN WINS AGAIN

DeGraff OH (5/3); Rain once again was the big winner at Shady Bowl Speedway Saturday. Wet grounds and more rain in the forecast forced Shady Bowl Speedway promoter Charlie Stapleton to cancel the scheduled racing action.

 The next racing is set for next Saturday (May 10th) will feature the second appearance of the American Modified Series. The AMS Shoot Out will headline the nights action, with $2500.00 awaiting the winner. Troy Ohio standout Greg Stapleton will try and repeat his performance of the first AMS event, when he set fast time, won his heat and the 50 lap feature . The Sport Stocks, Compacts, Pro-4's and Dwarf cars wil be in action.

 In last weeks racing two drivers were injured in the Dwarf car division, Rob Dutra of Springfield OH and Charlie Luper of Cambridge City IN . Both are now recovering at home.

Gates will open at 3, with racing at 7.
